For our birthdays this year, Joel and I bought eachother tickets to see Les Miserables in Omaha. We dropped off all five children at church with a babysitter and headed out. It was a quiet, relaxing trip to Omaha and we headed straight to the Cheesecake Factory for lunch. We enjoyed a delicious meal and shared a piece of cheesecake for dessert. Yum! Then we headed to the Orpheum Theater and thoroughly enjoyed the performance. It was as good as my memory from seeing it when I was in high school and it was fun to share it with Joel, who had never seen it. We headed home right after the performance and got home just in time to tuck the kids into bed.

we had a wonderful time being together for a day. Hmmm. . .I wonder what's playing in Omaha next year. . .
